Great idea, but WOW, so many animals looking for homes and lost!
Maybe there needs to be a "bridge" between here and FLF in the form of a "stickie" advising those with lost pets to check with the shelter.
Just an FYI-kinda thing.

Write it up and report the post and ask the mods to pin it.
This would work in most cases ... understanding, of course, that we reserve the right to ignore the request for pinning if it is, in our opinion, inappropriate. I do think, however, this request in this forum would be quite appropriate.

I'll leave that to someone more qualified, thanks.
While I am an animal welfare advocate (and always will be), my suggestions don't seem to carry a lot of "weight".
This (request for the stickie) is about the four-legged ones, however, and I thought the suggestion was appropriate.
It was just a suggestion and intended to not keep the shelter completely "out of the loop", since it stands to benefit when people come to pick up their lost pets.

Interesting.
All current threads on 4 Legged Friendzy are locked/closed?
Don't know what that's all about (nothing surprises me anymore!), but if any of you are still voting for Paulding's shelter/humane society in the "Shelter Challenge", don't stop now, because we just moved to 11th place in the state, so whatever you're doing, please don't stop, and if there's a last-minute "push", coming up, let it come.

The topics that are closed that you are talking about were old polls, look at the date..

Really?
Looks like they're all red-x'd out, not just the poll ones...
*sigh*
Whut-evah!
