Holy Saturday - April 11, 2009
Blessing of Baskets at 3:00 p.m.
The custom of blessing the food for Easter arose from the discipline of fasting throughout Lent. Easter was the first day when meat and other foods could again be eaten. We hope that you and your family will join in this tradition by bringing your basket of food to be blessed.

Easter Vigil Holy Mass at 8:30 p.m.
The celebration and blessing of the fire, the lighting of the Paschal candle, the reading of the history of Salvation, the reception of new members into the church, the renewal of Baptismal promises and the celebration of the Eucharist.
