Early evening as my daughter walked our dog, a man
tried luring her with a puppy.. THANK GOD, we had just left our driveway and
was not far from her.
He has thin light brown hair. Looked to be 30-35 years old.
STRONG, southern country accent-- almost seemed fake.
He was driving a faded red (late 80's early 90's) Chevy S-10 pick-up.
He was wearing a blue work shirt with two patches.. I wish I could have seen
what they said.
He was DEFINATELY up to NO GOOD!!

Hubby said the truck has an exhaust issue..
also he has (or had) an unkept go-tee (sp?) with heavy five o'clock shadow.

PLEASE answer whether you informed the police!

Now that we all know, I'll keep my eyes open for this guy and if I see him around I'll call the PCSO and tell them the story. If you see him in Publix, go get the manager or something. He may have warrents or something already, lets hope, since he hasn't done anything illegal yet I don't think.

im fearful maybe the police werent notified bc that question seems to keep getting skipped. I understand if you were nervous and didnt know what to do and ended up just being greatful your daughter was ok but like everyone is saying please make a report so that authorities can be on the lookout so no other child is in the same position and maybe not as fortunate as yours. Even for your daughters sake you need to call bc even though she is ok he may want to target her. You never know.

Glad she is ok and thanks for the heads up so we can all keep an eye out for this person and agreed that the comment about her appearance was not appropriate

No one should be afraid to contact the police if someone could be in bodily harm. Our police force can't be everywhere at the same time, and it is our civic duty to report these kind of things to help protect ourselves and others in our community. If the police is notified, they can have a BOLO out and cover more ground as to watching out for this guy!

Have you looked at the GA sex offender's list to see if you could ID this guy, to help out the police?

Me too, Bones. I am off of Bobo Road in New Hope area. I am on the road several times a day (my job) out in this area and I will definitely keep my eyes open for this vehicle.

Thank you, OP, for giving us a heads up on this.

I apoligize for our impatience. We are nervous about this person. Thank you for sharing the info on here and for reporting it to the police. I and a lot of others will be on the lookout for this vehicle and man because of you. Thanks, again.

Thank you for answering the police question. When a topic like this is posted, one of community safety, people sit on it expecting an immediate response. Lesson there is not everyone who posts just sits there waiting for a chance to comment back.

Sounds like our citizens needs to be ever more diligent where the safety of their loved ones are concerned.

Safe travels thru Mayberry, you hear?

I hope this was at least reported. Lately, it seems every common thief, pervert and crazy person have been coming out of the under whatever rock they have been hiding under. You can't even turn on the news without a story about some cop somewhere getting busted for something. At my BFF's condo in Atlanta they had seven auto break in's just on Saturday. I'll be armed all the time from now on and so will she. Even in Paulding. These scum bags aren't scared of the Police, they are normally back out before the paperwork is done. An armed crime victim, now that's just a bad decision on their part.

*end of hijack.
