AWESOME !!! Just what our boys needed. !! Haven't heard how the Buc is. It was Rodney Holiman... he went to NPHS last year and is now the Bucs starting quarterback. Hope he will be ok.

GO WOLFPACK !!!!

I was the EMT working that game tonight. It appeared as though it was an ankle fracture when we checked him out. Can't tell you for sure without x-rays, but most likely so. He was in good spirits, not much pain. He actually insisted we not take him right away and let him watch the rest of 2nd quarter. That is why we sat with him on the track so long. He was taken to Kennestone to be checked out. Seems like a great kid while talking to him...hate that he got hurt.

Thanks for the update!! I hope it was not that bad and he can come back, but it doesn't sound like it. sad.gif

The kids give so much to their sports teams, I just really hate to see any kind of severe injury like that.

Get well quickly Rodney!

His father coaches rec ball with my hubby at New Hope. From what I know Rodney broke both bone in his lower leg. He had surgery to set it and put pins in it on Saturday. Needless to say this season is over for him. Sorry this happened to such a great young man. I am sure he will be back next year.

yep... The kids at NPHS were talking about Rodney today. They were concerned for him. It's nice to see that they are all still friends. Some were talking about going to the hospital to see him. Awesome kids. blush.gif

Ah man, that is bad. sad.gif We had one of our strikers on my son's U-16 soccer team collide with the goalie and do the same thing during a pre-season tournament. Missed the entire season.

Tell him to take it easy and let it heal and we'll see him next year!!
