I know there have been several posts about it, but wanted to add one more to encourage everyone to go see Fireproof this weekend. My wife and I saw it a couple of months ago at a preview. It's a great movie with a great message. This is part of the story from www.fireproofthemovie.com:

Starting this Sunday Fellowship UMC is doing a 6 week series about fireproofing your marriage. We believe in the movie so much that we have given away about 125 tickets to the movie. Also, we are planning to give away 10 copies of The Love Dare book that is a big part of the movie.

Ok, sorry I wasn't there for you to buy popcorn for me. I saw it earlier at a preview (with no popcorn and hard, straight chairs). So, what'd you think?

Because I went to the preview I get emails from them about the movie. Friday night it was the #3 movie across the nation! And, that's with it only being shown on 839 screens. The 5 movies that placed behind it were each shown on 2,500 screen. That's pretty impressive. Sounds like somebody's watching this movie.

I laughed, I cried and I cheered !
I had popcorn...but needed one hand to wipe my tears with - LOL -
The message was powerful and sincere and applied to all people - it was about communication and what the lack of it will and does do. I miss my precious hubby, (mhrip) and wish he had been there, but I still got a lot from it. Even the children will carry what they saw into their own relationships. I thank Fellowship UMC for the blessing of the tickets.
I hope everyone that has the chance to go to a movie will go to see this one. There were NO cuss words, NO violence and yet the theatre was full, and everyone was pleased with what they saw. Just wow........
