We are currently searching for an announcer for Friday night games. We are setting up a press box team and already have a score board operator and spotters. If this sounds like you and you are outgoing, energetic and want one of the best seats in the house please send an email to boostercovicepres@hiramfootball.com or PM me!

Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.
It takes an athlete to dance, but an artist to be a dancer.

Can he please, please remember to turn the mike off when he's finished? Terrible listening to pressbox talk and shuffling of paper and such. I'll stop now for fear of bashing, although my comments are truthful and meant for improvement. There were other rough patches......but I'm hoping it was just nerves.
Quick and speedy recovery to Hornet #13; he's one of the best players Hiram has.

It was his first time ever, and since he asked for a roster prior to just showing up he did a superb job. You want to give it a try, seems you know how to run your mouth!

W-H-A-T-E-V-E-R!
The truth is the truth. Superb??? He was just okay, period. If it was his first time then wonderful, obviously he'll do much better. Truth be told, there were other mistakes besides the speaker thing. I have a right to an opinion just like you do.....don't get mad if my opinion isn't to your liking. Get a grip and get over yourself. How's that for running of the mouth???
Boy, oh boy--people get super brave when not face to face and posting a message.
A quick note though---I did like when he announced for everyone to cheer their Hiram Hornets!

I am over myself, but if u would look a little further in the topic he is my nephew! So yeah i am going to be vocal. especially when someone who would probably never ever have the guts to speak or stand up in front of hundreds of people and keep their cool (like Kyler) speaks out about my nephew on a message board.....and i quote "Boy, oh boy--people get super brave when not face to face and posting a message." take heed of your own advice!Apparently from the looks of this topic everybody else in the stands knows what kind of young man he is and apparently well liked, so just bring ear plugs next time.

Uh, I'm not in the Announcer profession.
Respectfully, I sincerely don't care what he is to you. I am entitled to an opinion and I'm sticking to what I oringinally wrote. Your nephew, Kyler, was just OK, OK but not Superb.....JUST OK....
Go read my 1st post--I knew someone like yourself would take offense, how sad. That wasn't the point. The mike noise was distracting and that was a fact. I also stated you can tell he was new and nervous, but I was aware of this and know (hope) he'll improve. And although a bunch may know him, I stated I didn't, my opinion was not influenced by knowing him.
I believe it would be easier for all,,,not just for me, if he would just turn off the mike when not in use, have someone show him how to work a mike or have the school give him a mike with an on/off switch.
CATMAX--this is not a battle, I want or desire to pick. A person is entitled to an opinion, even if it isn't to your liking.
PEACE OUT!
You are now on my ignore list. HA!

I would Just like to add that the mike issue was not Kylers fault, I was in the press box and know that the only mic that was provided was one with no switch to turn off. I have spoken to the Athletic Director from the school and requested a different mic for the next home game. The mic issue has been resolved.
Thanks for all the fan support this year and looking forward to next weeks game at Northgate.
Great Job Kyler!
