It looks like the future football field is just on the right (due south of the main entrance) as you enter the parking lot. Please tell me that I'm correct in observing that there is not a track around it. It looks like ticket and concessions are nearly completed. What is the large building at the north end of the endzone near the parking lot? The HS fields without the track allow the fans to be so much closer to the action! Is the track going to be around the Soccer / practice field? It looks like it is going in there. You can see the base ball and softball complex taking shape off to the southeast. The school looks very close to completion, has anyone been inside lately? Will it be ready for the start of the school year.

I'm not sure about the fields, but the school WILL be ready for the start of the school year, as will Burnt Hickory Elementary.

I heard that some of the inside work may be behind. Of course I am talking about the classrooms and not the athletic facilities.

They better catch up then--it's not like rain has been a factor. dry.gif

The football stadium is the first athletic complex on the right. The concession stands, ticket booths and fieldhouse are being bricked and the support for the bleachers have been set. The large building on the north end is the fieldhouse. There will be no track and this facility will be very similar to South Paulding's stadium. The baseball softball complex is next as you go east and the track will go around the football practice field. Sod for the practice field has supposedly been laid and the sod for the football stadium and the softball field is supposed to be in by Aug. 1 from what I've heard. I've heard the building is to be turned over to the county in early Aug and they are much further along than they were with McClure Middle School this time last year.

It is modeled after S. Paulding High. Here's a little video.

North Paulding is like a mile from our new house! All three look like really nice schools. We won't have children for a few years, but it is nice to know that the schools they will be attending are that close. Hubby is also a teacher, so it would be AWESOME if he could transfer to one of those new schools if they have openings. Now that would be a great commute to work!
My new children's photography website is now online! Go take a peek if you have a second!
