i had ms. inhulsen too- she always reminded me of an owl with those big glasses that she wore- but she was a really good teacher! Mr. Bowman-God rest his soul- not so much.

Yea, Mrs. Inhulsen remined me of an owl to but I learned A LOT from her and her cooolllddd room.

I will never forget Mr. Bowman and " One more time!" on the marching field. Did you have Ms. Wilder at all? I graduated with her son Bill.

I had Mrs. Nader too at Hollydale! My mother was her best friend. My mom was fortunate to get all of her collectable cat figurines after she passed. She had a love for children and animals.

I remember her always having anmimals in the classroom.

I know this is an old topic but I just found it. My favorites from EPHS have to be Mrs. Montgomery (business) = whatever happened to her?

You are absolutely right about Ms. Bishop and Mrs. Sotomayer! My daughter had the privilege of being in their class 9 years ago. Every child should be lucky enough to start their school career with those two wonderful women! I also had the privilege of working with them as a parapro a few years ago. I believe Wanda Bishop could make a rock want to learn!

My daughter had Ms. Bishop for kindergarten 25 years ago and absolutely loves her! At that time her para-pro was Mrs. Waters who is also awesome! I ran into Mrs Waters a couple of months ago in a restaurant and she recognized me and asked about my daughter. She and Wanda Bishop were a great team! :D

My youngest had Denise York in Kindergarten at Dallas and loved her. When she did her student teaching from KSU she worked with/for Denise York. Way to go Denise.

My daughter has fell in love with Mrs. George at Hiram Elementary in 2nd and the one in kindergarten, Ms. Bishop, because she hasn't had another teacher (Ms. Bishop rocks though) even without any other teachers. As does Mrs. Sotomayor, her parapro. We loved them all.

My youngest daughter had Ms. Bishop and Mrs. Sotomayer and my son had Mrs. Johnson. LOVED THEM both. They are both warm, caring, dedicated teachers.

For me it was Mr. Henry, Coach Perry, and Mrs. Cofer.

You must be about class of '82 or so from PCHS. These were my sister's teachers. I was class of '80 and also had Mrs. Cofer. Can't say she was a favorite though. :pardon:

Edited to add: My favorites at PCHS were Mr. Moody, Mrs. Irma Austin, and Mrs. Jeanne Shipp.

I have to give a shout out for what is now a favorite teacher of my sons at EPHS. His first yr. he had her he couldn't stand her then she grew on him and on me also. She has to be hands down the best math teacher around. Barbara Miller for honors and AP math turned out to be the one teacher that taught him what he really needed to know to succeed in college.
When he and his friends who also had her went to college orientation and had to take the math placement test they made it straight into Calculus. Other students from other schools like Harrison were being told you only scored high enough for pre-calc. they were complaining because they had made an A in their high school AP calc. class as did my son. An A from one teacher is not always the same as an A from another, with Ms. Miller you have to work HARD for that A, but it pays off. BTW he hardly had to go to any college Calc I classes and he made an A in the class because he already knew everything.
