I have an old IBM ThinkPad 380XD. This was my brothers in the late 1990's, for his work, etc. He gave it to me about 3 years ago, thinking I could use it for something having to do with my pet sitting business. Before I could really get involved with it, it died on me. Can anything be done with this thing, or is it something best used for parts- and if so please feel free to ask for it if you want it. I am NOT tech savvy, nor plan to be. I want a very basic laptop that I can have my business files on, do my business on, and send and recieve email, etc., on.........

We could take a look at it and see if at the very least it can be resuscitated to have a functional computer retirement as a paper-writer at the very least. Laptops aren't the best for parting out because each model of laptop until very, very recently had very few interchangeable parts. So that I don't derail my own thread here I'll shoot you a PM actually. smile.gif
