PCHS Marching Band will be competiting at the Band of America competition this Saturday at the GA Dome. This is a Super Regional Competition with bands from GA and all over the south. There are several bands from Cobb County competing and we are the only band from Paulding County to compete. This is "The Pride's" second year competiting in this competition.

The students, directors, instructors and band parents, have worked extremely hard this year to get ready. The kids have put in hundreds and hundreds of hours of practice for this moment.

426 Main Street is the show, and it is about building a home and family.

How did they do?

we did not make the finals but the kids performed an excellent show. this type of competition is based on school side. so we are competition with bands from the likes of Kennesaw Mountain, Harrison and Kell High Schools from Cobb County. But the kids had a blast! My daughter is still asleep and it is almost noon! I am not sure of our placement, but will post as soon as I know!

We got 27th out of about 47 bands. We are so proud of all the long hours that went into our show this year & it looked great on Sat. They will be performing the entire show at our Hiram game. Take time to watch!!!! It tells a great story!
