Dobbins vs East Paulding


The 7th grade teams played to a tough 0 - 0 tie. Great defensive play by both teams. Neither offense could move the ball much. Congrats to both 7th grade teams and coaches (and cheerleaders).


The 8th grade Dobbins team roughed up the Raiders of East Paulding 38 - 14. The Raiders defense had a rough time tackling, but made a couple of great pass plays on Offense.

The Jaguars team looked pretty good on Offense, Defense and Special teams.....
Congrats to the 8th grade Dobbins Jaguars.

I think you may have confused Dobbins Middle school with Austin Middle School. Dobbins' mascot is the jaguars. Austin played HJMS today.

7th grade HJMS won 8 to 6.
8th grade was like 30 to 10 or something in HJMS' favor when I had to leave.

Good synopsis of the games. Hadn't thought about how wet the field would be at 9 a.m. - covered with dew. Dobbins 7th grade didn't throw a pass all game while EP only threw one at the end of the game - I'm assuming most of that was due to the wet conditions. Hopefully we'll see some passes in the future. 7th grade looked pretty evenly matched.

EP's 8th grade had a tough time stopping Dobbin's #16 - man oh man, was he a tank! Penalties hurt as well. Did have some nice long bombs by the EP offense.
