Ludie Marie Mayfield Hall

Ludie Marie Mayfield Hall, 82, of Acworth, GA gained her heavenly robe and crown on February 21, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family and friends.  She was born on October 7, 1937, in Dallas, GA. She was an active member of Whitworth Baptist Church. She was known for her singing for the Lord, good deeds, and never turning away a stranger. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was a talented seamstress, even making wedding dresses. She made wedding cakes and flowers, quilts, and countless Christmas costumes for the church. During the final days of her illness, this Proverbs 31 woman crocheted tams and delivered them to the cancer center.

Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents Jessie Clarence and Etta L. Newberry Mayfield; a brother, Ray Mayfield; and a sister, Jean Mayfield. She is survived by her husband Carl A. She is also survived by her children: Carl Allan Hall of Dallas and his wife Kimberly; Tammie Hall-Vanmeter and her husband Marty of Dallas; Vicki Dubs of Dallas and her husband Joseph; and one brother, Larry Mayfield of Tallapoosa. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren and their spouses: Kim Chupp, Kristy Johnson, Kalisa Phifer, Kortni Pike, Jason Walker, Patrick Dubs, Caitie Chupp, Zachary Hall, Allana Hall, Kara Hicks, Kristi Allen, Kacey McClarty, Jeffrey Hannah, and Desire Hannah; and 11 great-grandchildren: Michael Chupp, Sara Green, Aaron Chupp, Brandon Johnson, Alice Pike, Wesley Pike, Madelyn Walker, Alex Walker, Sam Walker, Emma Iverson, Joseph Iverson; and one great-great grandchild, Benjamin Chupp.
