Are you having issues with anything that isn't online...like can you open a word doc and move around in it without issue? On the webpages you're having trouble with, are your mouse clicks just not registering (like does the blinking cursor appear on the fb status box when you click on it?)?

haven't tried word yet. as far as the mouse showing: yes. I can type

everything in the status box or comment box but when I press post,it says

unable to post comment, please try again. when I hit "like" it acts like it

worked but then immediately changes back.

I can "see" everything fine. just cant comment, message, or like.

my daughter can from her kindle,... so I know it's a computer

issue ,not a facebook settings issue. just don't know where to start

Mine does that too. But, the little bar, when you are typing will jump to the front, from where i'm typing.

From your description, I really can't visualize what it is doing. But...

If it were me, I'd clear my browser cookies and cache. Then do a power-off and restart. Log into FB and see if the problem still exists.

You can try:

Clearing the cookies from the browser you're using.

Log out of Facebook and then log back in again.

Turn your computer off and back on - see if that fixes it.

Try a different browser.

:pardon:

Did you get it straightened out?

Mine is fine too and I use Firefox as my browser. I have a regular FB page and one for my art...both are fine.

i have been having facebook problems for over a week-on and off . i use google chrome and internet explorer-both had issues with facebook. I have no problems with any other sites and have done all the above suggestions . I have not been playing games as frequently on there due to this problem.

My bar jumps around like that too & I didn't touch any key accidently either. Why does that do that? really messes up a sentence.

Mine did this exact same thing awhile back. It was like I was double clicking everything.

There is a spring mechanism inside the mouse and after awhile it wears out (I play a LOT of Mahjong games)

It can be fixed, but the piece is so thin I was afraid of breaking it completely, so I just bought a new mouse.

Hope this helps.
